When we talk about the safe driving in order to earn more miles, it has tend to work on our driving method on how we save a gas in order to run up in more miles. When it comes to safe driving, we’re not just talk about the safety measures in driving a car like driving safely in common. When it comes to more miles specification of safe driving, it deals on the safe using of cars. Use of cars while driving is a worth while experience on how you can manage valuing the gas or fuel of your car. For driving a car is not just driving it for your purpose of using it in order to go in any place. A good driver is not deal on the racer or driver of the racing cars who can hit a fastest time. A good driver when it comes to usual driving, he/she must have deal with any safety measure. Safety measure for his/her life and safety measure for the life (fuel, engine) of the car. An excellent fuel consumption will give a complex advantage in caring your car. Make your way used car values in order not to regret anytime.

A smooth step into acceleration pedal will give a smooth and safe driving that turns to low consumption of gas which means cost effective consumption of fuel. An smooth driving will protect the life of your car and especially your life as a driver. This is the great benefits of safety driving. You are away from any accident, you can protect the engine of your car, you can lower your fuel expenses, and you can protect the environment for pollution. Over using of fuel will give damage into the environment because of smokes that generates by your cars. For example, you are reckless in driving, you keep on angry stepping on acceleration which make you an over speeding until you don’t notice that because of over speeding, your car was overheat. So, your car might be damage and it may cause generating more smokes by the engine of your car.

Here are the ways on how to drive safe in order to get more mileage: proper car maintenance will help to get more mileage, maintain a regular change oil, proper driving like hitting the exact mileage recommended, make a smooth break, don’t put lot of things into your car which bring extra weight into it, you can convert your car also in low cost fuel if necessary, and keep your car in good running condition. Saving fuel is a worthwhile money saving concept. But when we talk what is more effective money saving concept in driving; mileage or time travel saved by driving fast? For me you can save for mileage. Because speed driving will burn more fuels. Though in short period of time than in a mileage driving, still speed driving is not the right way to make a cost-effective fuel consumption.

Safety driving will give a good life for your car as well as into your life. Focusing into your safety driving concept will makes your family happy. Why? Because you are safe from any car accident. Don’t let yourself belong into about 25,000 victims of car accident every year in Australia. Keep on the right track and have a safety driving method in order to save your life from killer car accidents.

Car tyres play an integral role in the performance and fuel-efficiency of any car. Most of the time car owners take good care of their car exteriors, interiors, and even car engine but they forget the significance of car tyres. Care and maintenance of car tyres ensures safer and longer journey.

Here are top 7 tips for tyre care and maintenance:

1. Car tyres should be replaced after 10 years or based on driving and weather condition. Replace them when you see a crack on the side walls. It is believed that the rubber compounds used in tyres consist of anti-oxidizing chemicals that help in slowing down the natural aging process of untreated rubber. All tyres deteriorate with age and blocking the natural aging process increases the risk of failure.

2. Use the proper size wheel bolts when replacing the tyres. If these are either too short or too long, the chances of wheels jumping out increases or an even damage the suspension. They should also be well-balanced to avoid shaking of the car.

3. Rotation of tyre positions is very essential to achieve uniform wear on each tyre. Check the rotation period mentioned in the car owner manual and if no specification is given, rotate after every 5000 km. You need to rotate the tyre position even if there is an irregular wear found on the tyre.

4. Proper wheel alignment is also important as it ensures that all car wheels are pointed in the best direction to the road and each other. It also ensures maximum tyre life by reducing the possibilities of wear and tear. Wheel alignment should be done after every 5000 km or whenever you find any irregular wear on the tyre.

5. Check air pressure of the tyre. All the tyres should be inflated with the correct air pressure as both under-inflation and over-inflation leads to premature tyre failure, eventually leading to a car accident. Perfect air pressure in tyres also ensures maximum tyre life, and delivers best ride and handling experiences.

6. Driving style and habits also puts an impact on the life of tyres. Drive smoothly at a constant pace. Applying frequent brakes or driving rashly results in skidding and eventually tyre loses its tread.

7. Last but not the least, keeping the tyres clean by removing all foreign substances from the surface helps improve performance. Dirt and grime deposits on the surface of the tyre and can degrade them. So, it’s very important to clean car tyres at regular intervals of time.

If you have been contemplating on buying a car and looking for a good deal then salvage cars auctions or salvage yards are the place for you. But before you run to the nearest salvage car auction and start bidding, it would do well if you learn about a few things you ought to know. Although salvage car auctions might be the perfect place where you could buy cars at pretty low prices, there are also drawbacks for those who are not habituated with the process of placing bids at auto auctions.

So what are these salvage cars auctions? These are auctions where you mostly find cars that have been taken from insurance claims. Normally, when a car meets with an accident, the insurance company will assess the damage and if repairing the same goes beyond the value set by the insurance company, then it is sold at auctions for salvage cars or at salvage yards.

If you want to get the best deal on a salvage car, then you must keep in mind the following points:

• Make sure that you inspect the condition of the car before the auction takes place; most car auctions let you do this.
• At the auction, you might be astonished to see that there are more used car dealers than individuals who are looking to buy their own car. It is profitable for these dealers to buy salvage cars at salvage yards or salvage car auctions, work on them and sell them at a much higher price making a tidy sum in profits. Also, remember that when you bid, you have to pay there and then.
• You need to find car auctions; you can look through your local newspapers, magazines and in today’s fast advancing information technology, on the internet as well. There are some websites which even allow you to bid for salvage cars online.

Very few people are aware that there are salvage yards and auctions where they can purchase these salvage cars. Hence second-hand car dealers are very happy that they can buy the used cars, overhaul and restore them and sell them at a profit. They can afford to bid higher since they are in the business and with all their experience they know what exactly they need to inspect in a used car before they bid. Most individuals might not spend time at the salvage yards or salvage car auctions as they would be dubious and would rather choose to buy a new car. But if you are really bent on getting a particular make and model that you are interested in, look for one at the salvage car auctions.

Besides salvage yards, government auctions are also good places to go if you are looking for a good deal in salvage cars. Cars confiscated from defaulters like drug dealers, which are normally big, luxury cars, are sold by the government as it is a problem for them to store these cars. And they are sold at unbelievably high discounts. You can get real beauties this way.

Millions of Car Accidents occur worldwide every year, and the fatalities due to these accidents are also in the millions. Most of the time, it is somehow the driver who is responsible for the accident.

According to a Traffic Report by the WHO, road accidents kill more than 1.2 million people annually, and around fifty million people get injured or disabled. These numbers are increasing with the passage of years. Out of over 1.2 million worldwide, 90% of the deaths are caused in the countries that have low or middle level incomes. Globally, more than half of the total accidents that occur are with drivers between the age of 15 and 44 years, and the drivers in more than 73% of cases are males.

In the UK, the number of accidents has considerably decreased in percentage over the past four or five years. Recent reports show that the road accidents have decreased by one to two percent since the year 2006.

According to an estimate, the number of accidents every year in the US is more than six million. These accidents injure millions, while thousands of people are killed. The number of people killed in car accidents in the US is thirteen times that killed in the UK. However, this difference is not very dramatic as the US is 40 times the size of UK.

In the EU, the country with the highest number of Car accidents and fatalities is Italy followed by Poland. The UK also has a relatively high rate as compared to other EU countries. Around ten thousand car accidents occur in the UK each day, and most of these are the result of a mistake on the driver’s part. Car accidents comprise more than 52% of the total accidents in the EU.

Out of the total accidents in the EU, 67% are in the urban areas and in 75% of the total accidents, the driver is male. Young drivers between age 18 and 25 are involved in more than 21% of the total accidents and fatalities. Research shows that most of the accidents occur due to reckless driving and intoxication. Other than this, there are large numbers of rollover accidents involving young adults and teenage drivers. The number of accidents due to intoxication is also increasing continuously. In the US, about 70 to 80 people die every day due to accidents related to alcohol.

In accidents in the EU and US, most the cars are insured, and Car Accident Compensation Claims can be made along with any Car Accident Injury claims. However, there are many countries where there is no insurance, and hence Car accident claims cannot be made. This is especially true for the low and medium income countries of Africa and Asia where accidents are in large percentages, and Car Accident Compensation Claims and Car Accident Injury Claims are not usually made.

Although wearing seat belts is the number one safety measure when it comes to traveling in a vehicle, accidents still happen due to seat belts not being worn. Drivers and passengers do not wear seat belts for many reasons. Some forget to wear them, while others are just plain lazy to put on seat belts. After some time, this becomes a really bad habit.

Accidents can happen any time, any day. Some may be minor accidents, and some may be severe accidents. Drivers who don’t like wearing seat belts often say that accidents don’t happen to them if they are careful enough. But nothing can be further from the truth. Accidents do happen even to the most cautious of drivers. This is because sometimes, accidents are caused by factors that are beyond the control of the drivers. For example, another drunk driver may be the cause of the accident.

So seat belts are there to help protect the drivers (and whoever are in the car) at the moment when accidents happen.

When a crash occur, especially if a car is traveling at high speed, all passengers in the car are flung forward as the car comes to a sudden stop. When this happens, the fragile human body can sustain multiple injuries. For instance, the head may hit the dashboard, causing injury to the neck area. If the force is great enough, the body may even be sent flying through the windscreen. Such accidents are most likely to be fatal.

So the safety belt helps to safe guard the lives of the passengers should there be an accident. Even when there is a great impact, the safety belt will be able to prevent the body from being flung forward. For serious accidents, the belt may save a driver’s life.

Due to the importance of the safety belts, car manufacturers are required to abide by strict safety rules and regulations. Tests are often conducted in laboratories, under controlled environments. Sometimes, video footages of test results are released to the public to remind drivers to wear seat belts when driving. Such video footages often show what happen to crash dummies on the point of impact. In the lab tests, the bodies of the crash dummies are often shattered to pieces during a crash. Hopefully, these video footages can help deter drivers from neglecting their seat belts. After all, the human body is protein based, and unlike crash dummies, there is a soul in that body.

Accidents are unfortunate incidents, but they do happen. Not only do they cause damage to the physical bodies of the victims, they also cause undue distress to family and friends. What do you think will happen to a family if the sole bread winner is handicapped because he or she has forgotten to wear a seat belt? The consequences are dire.

So make every effort to wear safety belts the next time you drive.
